Jensen Motorsport So Far...
Jensen Motorsport has for many years been a part of British Motorsport, founded in 1996 by Racing Driver Jensen Lunn it has been racing in many different disciplines all over the UK and Europe. Jensen has raced cars all his life and as such has driven many different cars / formula’s, with experience in open wheelers such as Formula Ford, Formula Renault, Formula Opel, F3 and closed wheel such as National Saloons, Porsche and British GT, an experienced driver with a wealth of knowledge partly based on running a professional team with multinational drivers and funding as well as driving as his main passion.
The Gallery shows the different cars and races that Jensen has done so far which will be added to as the next year progresses. Jensen took a sabbatical from motor racing in 2005 to concentrate on commercial interests elsewhere but has returned in 2010 to pick up where he left off, many plans are being laid for 2011 and 2012 including European racing and UK, these plans include British GT and Britcar.
Jensen Motorsport last ran in British GT in 2005 with a Corvette C5 (See Gallery), it was a good time for team and Jensen is very much looking forward to returning to that stage again, Jensen Adds “It was a good time, it is where I want to be for sure, right now I am testing with a team and of course talking with many others, but if testing goes well I know this team have the same goals as me and we may well go into British GT together”.
Jensen's driving has been so diverse he plans to now focus on GT spec and endurance racing and has and will be testing many different cars before 2011 kicks off so watch this space, one things for sure its going to be a good show and look out for Jensen at a track near you soon.
